There may be some good news if you are waiting for the lower lanes of U.S. 67 to reopen so you can get into Missouri from Alton. Traffic on U.S. 67 between the Clark Bridge and Highway 94 in Missouri remains one way only, but MoDot has begun pumping water off of the lower lanes between the Clark Bridge and Highway 94.
MoDOT engineer Lisa Kuntz tells The Big Z pumping began this (Monday) afternoon.

The lower lanes were closed just after Christmas after water began to overtake the roadway. Kuntz says the segment between Highway 94 and the Lewis Bridge that crosses the Missouri River was opened on Sunday.
