The body of a missing Livingston man who had not been seen or heard from since late June has been found. 38-year-old Christopher Kostadin was last seen June 23 when his car broke down in the town of Sorento, in Montgomery County. He was reportedly seen several times that day. His body was found near a rural intersection a few miles from where his car was located.
It was not the first time Kostadin had gone missing, but in the past it was for a few days and he would resurface. Police focused their search in Madison County, and conducted several ground searches of the area near where his car was located. Kostadin was found outside the area that had been searched. Officials with the Montgomery County Sheriff's Department issued a statement saying they don't believe his death was the result of any criminal act.
