The flu season has been pretty mild so far in Illinois.  Addording to the CDC, flu activity has only been sporadic in Illinois and much of the nation.  With that in mind, State Department of Public Health spokesman Melaney Arnold says you still have time to get vaccinated.

Flu activity peaked in late December last year, which is earlier than usual.  Arnold says flu season usually hits its high point in late January or early February.
