Madison County Transit is making changes to a route that services the warehouse district near I-270, and a route that picks up workers from Beverly Farm in Godfrey. The changes will go into effect Sunday. The hope is to provide more access to a couple big job providers in the region.
Agency spokesman S.J. Morrison says they are picking up riders a little earlier to improve schedule reliability on the #6 Roxana - South Roxana Shuttle to the Gateway Commerce Center, and adjusing the #10 State and Elm Shuttle to accomodate the 6am shift end-time at Beverly Farm in Godfrey.
Another change is to re-routes traffic to the Emerson Park MetroLink Station in East St. Louis. All of the changes can be found on the MCT website, which you can find through a link to this story at AltonDailyNews.com, or by calling 931-RIDE.
