The National Great Rivers Museum at the Mel Price Lock & Dam is hosting the annual "Masters of the Sky" program, beginning today and running through Monday. The World Bird Sanctuary will bring a host of birds of prey. Natural Resource Specialist Janet Mifflin says the show is held in a heated tent that holds 200 people.
A regular feature of the presentation is the crowd-pleasing "fly-by" that has at least one of the birds "buzz" the crowd just inches above their heads. Shows begin at 11am, 1pm and 3pm, and seating is limited to the first 200 tickets per show. Tickets are $5 per adult and $3 per child.
