Marquette Catholic High School in Alton is holding a placement exam for incoming freshman on Saturday, January 10th at the school.   While the students are testing, parents are welcome to attend a short meeting to get to know more about the school.

Marquette Principal Mike Slaughter tells the Big Z enrollment is over 420 for the school, which had its 7th straight year of growth in 2014.   While they have had an increase in students from Missouri, the bulk still come from the Riverbend:
