Students, staff and others at Marquette High School in Alton shaved their heads for charity yesterday, and surpassed expectations as far as participation and fundraising.  At least 19 students from the school, a couple from St. Mary's, and another adult from the community participated, raising over $4,000 for charity. 


Faculty sponsor Beth DeCourcey says the event came together in just a few weeks, although it had been talked about for much of the school year
