Marquette Catholic High School kicks off it's annual Mega Raffle fundraiser this weekend during homecoming festivities.   A special party and kick-off event is being hosted tonight by Johnson's Corner Restaurant in Alton before, during and after the homecoming football game at Public School Stadium.  The winner of the raffle will take home $50,000 and the proceeds will benefit the transportation program at the school.

With enrollment this year over 400 students, Marquette offers bus transportation from north St. Louis County, Jerseyville and Edwardsville.  The buses are also used during the school day and for extracurricular activities after school and on the weekends.   Director of Development and Fundraising Margot Huber says today's party starts at 5pm at Johnson's Corner:

Mega Raffle tickets can be purchased in person at upcoming home football games, along with going to Marquette's website.  The drawing takes place during an event at the school on November 30.  For more information go to
