Marquette Catholic High School in Alton kicks off its major fundraising campaign this week.  The $50,000 Mega Raffle runs until homecoming weekend, and the drawing on September 26th.  There will be $1,000 given away each week leading up to the main drawing and a special kick-off party this evening.

Following the games will be a block party at Johnson’s Corner starting at 8pm, where Mega Raffle tickets will be for sale and special drawing for St. Louis Cardinal tickets. Enrollment at Marquette is up for the 8th consecutive year, with 431 students on the first day of classes earlier this week.  For more information on the raffle, go to
