A Cottage Hills man pleaded guilty yesterday to dumping the body of a friend after a heroin overdose.  35-year-old Willie Jenkins, Junior, was then sentenced to time served and probation after spending 276 days in the Madison County Jail awaiting his trial.

Authorities say Jenkins dumped the body of 28-year-old Adam Sneed, also of Cottage Hills, after Sneed overdosed on heroin and died last October 18.   Jenkins placed Sneed’s body in his trunk and drove it to St. Louis where he dumped it in an alley.  Police in St. Louis found the body on October 21.  An investigation lead authorities to believe Jenkins was the last person to see Sneed alive and he was arrested on October 21 on outstanding warrants, then later charged with dumping Sneed’s body.
