A bizarre crime unfolds in downtown St. Louis. Police say a man attacked the driver of a horse-drawn carriage, took the reigns, then took off. It happened Wednesday near Eighth Street when the suspect struck the driver on the head with a cane.

While the thief managed to make off in the vehicle, the horse, named Harry, had other plans, and simply went back to the St. Louis Carriage Company's stables. The suspect then punched the horse before being tackled by employees, who say Harry wasn't hurt. The suspect has not been identified.
