The Madison County Extension Education Foundation and Master Gardeners from the University of Illinois Extension Office are coming together for the 13th annual Garden Tour Market on Saturday in Edwardsville. The event runs from 9am until 3pm, rain or shine, and features nine unique gardens that contain annuals, perennials, herbs, vegetables and other garden items.

Donna Bardon, who is a Master Gardener with the U of I Extension Office, says each location offers something unique.

Bardon says they will also be holding a raffle during the tour and have a total of sixteen containers to give away. She says some of those have been donated by local nurseries and others were created by Master Gardeners.  Tickets can be purchased at the Edwardsville and Glen Carbon Library, Bank of Edwardsville locations in Alton, Edwardsville and Highland and from the U of I extension office. Prices are $12 in advance or $15 if purchased the day of the tour. For more information contact the U of I extension office by calling 344-4230.
