Some 17-year-olds can vote in the upcoming primary election and there seems to be a big buzz over the matter. Madison County Clerk Debbie Ming-Mendoza says about 65 17-year-olds have already registered.

Only those who will be 18 before November 4th will be allowed to vote in the primary. The registration deadline is February 18th. Anyone who misses the February 18th deadline can go into the Clerk’s office on the 19th to register, but they’ll have to vote at the same time.
