Traffic will still be directed to the upper lanes of U.S. 67 between the Clark Bridge and Highway 94 in Missouri heading into next week.  The lower lanes were closed after water overtook the roadway last Saturday, and with the continued rainfall, the Mississippi River has not fallen enough to reopen the roadway.

MoDOT spokesman Shonda White tells The Big Z they are not putting a timetable on reopening the road.

She reminds that even after the river recedes and the lower lanes are accessible, crews will have to clean and check the pavement to make sure it is safe for travel.
