Traffic continues to use the upper lanes of U.S. 67 from the Clark Bridge to Highway 94 in St. Charles County. The lower lanes were closed after water overtook the roadway late Saturday, and it now looks like the lanes will remain closed through at least the first part of the weekend.
MoDOT spokesman Lisa Kuntz tells The Big Z she is not ready to predict when the water will recede enough to open the lower lanes.

She says even after the river recedes and the lower lanes are accessible, crews will have to clean and check the pavement to make sure it is safe for travel.
