Godfrey is considering a change in policy as it deals with complaints about motorcycle noise. Tonight, the Public Safety Committee will discuss "motorcycle noise within village boundaries." Noise has apparently been an issue for some residents recently, as the village passed an ordinance last month to control the times that amplified music could be played outside at its bars.
But Mayor Mike McCormick told Z-1570 News last month, bikers are the focus this time:
Most complaints, he says, come from the Great River Road and Humbert Road areas. Tonight's meeting will be held at 6:00 at the Godfrey Village Hall.
