An author with ties to the Riverbend has released a third book in her self-help series. After writing two books targeted for adults Theresa Klunk Shultz decided to take a different angle for her third piece of literature. She explains where she found her inspiration for “It’s a Happy Face Day: Simple Rhymes for Happy Times”.

The book offers 28 simple rhymes from a child’s point of view followed by a unique smiley face, point of wisdom from a Grandma’s perspective and a question. Schultz says the best part of the book is the question because it encourages conversation and develops a connection between the reader and the child.
