If you have had your utilities disconnected, or head a family with children, you can now apply for the next round of Low Income Home Energy assistance, or LIHEAP.  The sign-up period just began a few days ago.  Program spokesman Dave Roeder says the goal is to keep the heat turned on this winter through grants to qualifying households.
