The new Hayner Library Cookbook is now available.  It’s being used as a fundraiser for the library district in Alton.  Executive Director Bernadette Duvernoy says it is packed full of recipes from around the region.

She says a large majority of the recipes are from local people, including Hayner staff and patrons, but some authors she contacted for the book also contributed their favorites.  The book costs $20, and is available at each of the three Hayner locations.
