Lewis & Clark Community College's 42nd Commencement Ceremony will be held tonight at the Hatheway Cultural Center's Ann Whitney Olin Theater.  Nearly 200 of the more than 850 graduates will participate in the ceremony that begins at 7:00.  That is an hour earlier than in previous years

The college is expecting an overflow crowd, so additional seating will be available in The Commons, where the ceremony will be broadcast live on two large screens.  With enrollment continuing to climb, LCCC President Dr. Dale Chapman says they are considering a move outside in the future.

Chapman comments

This year’s commencement address will be delivered by Michael Moehn, Lewis and Clark Foundation Board member and senior vice president customer operations at Ameren Missouri.  Moehn is a 1989 graduate of Lewis & CLark Community College.
