The American Legion Great Lake's Regional will be played later this summer at SIU-Edwardsville and not at Gordon Moore Park in Alton.  This would have been the second of a two-year commitment to Alton, but the decision has been made to move the games to Lee Field on the SIUE campus in early August.

Stawar says Hopkins Field at Gordon Moore is in better shape than it's been in a decade, but drainage issues and scheduling appear to have been part of the reason for the move.  The local American Legion Baseball team has also moved its games out of Gordon Moore Park this summer and will instead play at Lee Field, and at Alton High School.
