Lewis and Clark Community College has made the process of applying for scholarships easier for its students by streamlining the process. For several years students have had the opportunity to apply for scholarships from the college and from the Lewis and Clark Community College Foundation using separate applications, which resulted in many scholarships not being awarded.
Lori Artis, Vice President of Media and Foundation Relations for Lewis and Clark, says the old process was confusing.
Artis says the new process will only require students to fill out one application online. She adds that nearly 300 students were awarded more than $700,000 worth of L&C Foundation scholarships last year and that there are several scholarship opportunities currently available. All applications must be submitted by 6 p.m. on April 30th. For more information or to apply visit www.lc.edu/scholarships
