Lewis and Clark Community College has been named to be on the Military Friendly Schools list for the sixth consecutive year. The list honors the top 20 percent of colleges, universities and trade schools who do the most to embrace our country's military service members, veterans, and spouses as students and who do what they can to ensure their success on campus.
Director of Career and Veteran Services at Lewis and Clark Terry Lane tells The Big Z meeting the criteria is a team effort.

Lane says things that qualify Lewis and Clark for the list range from academic advising to emergency loan funds. He also says that his job as a liason between the school and those involved with the military plays a big role in the college being included on the list. Institutions that qualify for the honor completed a survey of more than 100 questions that spanned ten categories on which they were judged, including military support on campus, graduation and employment outcomes and military spouse policies.
