Some state lawmakers are supporting a measure to “close the loopholes” in corporate taxes. State Sen. Toi Hutchinson (D-Olympia Fields) is the sponsor. “Regardless of whether you call these loopholes, or whether you call them tax expenditures or whether you call them incentives, they demand the same level of scrutiny to make sure that our tax code is operating in a manner that is consistent with the type of economy we actually have,” Hutchinson said.
