Lawmakers from opposing political parties came together to oppose Governor Bruce Rauner’s plan to slash funding to local governments. Democrat Andy Manar of Bunker Hill and Republican Sam McCann of Carlinville agree the cuts would have a dramatic effect on how local law enforcement is able to do its job.
