Republican State Representative C.D. Davidsmeyer of Jacksonville says the annual United Van Lines report on domestic migration patterns shows the potential for more financial woes for Illinois. Davidsmeyer, who’s district extends south into portions of the Z-1570 listening area, says according to this latest data shows population flight is getting worse.

Illinois shows the second-highest ratio of those moving out versus into the state, trailing only New Jersey. In 2011, Illinois had the highest outbound ratio in the nation.
