Illinois residents who buy trailer homes have a new guarantee that they won’t be getting a former meth lab.  A new law requires trailer park operators to tell the buyer if the home was once used to make the drug.  Operators will be fined two-thousand-dollars if they fail to provide that information.

State Senator Jason Barickman pushed for the new law after a family in Normal purchased a meth lab and was on the hook for thousands-of-dollars in extra clean-up costs.
