The time to sign up for health insurance is running out. Americans who do not have insurance after March 31st will face a penalty when they file their 2014 taxes next April. The Madison County Health Department is wrapping up its series of counseling appointments as the deadline is now less than two weeks away.
Kara Hughes says if you already have insurance, you don’t have to do anything, but if you need to enroll, time is of the essence.

If you choose to go it on your own, you can sign up, compare plans and find out if you're eligible for subsidies under the Affordable Care Act, you should log on to www.HealthCare.Gov .
