Is this the final year for the Lights on Paris Drive? According to social media posts, the owner of the display says the answer is yes. After apparently coming to an agreement with a handful of neighbors who had complained about the traffic last year, it was thought the complaints would come to an end, but the reduced hours and traffic restrictions may have led to even more congestion, according to Godfrey Mayor Mike McCormick.
McCormick says the display is an asset to the village, but understands the neighbors’ point of view as well. Jason Adams, owner of the display, declined an offer to comment.
