U.S. Senator Mark Kirk of Illinois may be recovering from his stroke, but aides are apparently keeping a lid on what information gets out. "The Chicago Tribune" reports not a lot of people have been able to see the Illinois Republican, including several close friends. His chief of staff says people around Kirk have no plans to give interviews. Kirk suffered the stroke last month.

He's expected to make a full mental recovery.
