Glen Carbon Republican Dwight Kay is supporting a resolution that encourages the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency to locate near Scott Air Base in St. Clair County.  The NGA plans to build a new campus in the St. Louis area by 2021 and is considering several sites in the area.

Kay says the House resolution passed this week is an important sign that the state would like the jobs to land at Scott Air Force Base:

Pending the NGA’s decision, the new intelligence campus is estimated to begin construction in April of 2016.
