A St. Clair County judge pleaded not guilty to drug charges Friday possibly connected to the death of another judge.  Michael Cook is accused of having heroin and weapons when he was taken into custody yesterday.  He's also being investigated in connection with the March death of Judge Joseph Christ.

Cook was reportedly with Christ when he died of a cocaine overdose in a hunting cabin in Pike County, Illinois.  According to published reports, a county employee allegedly gave Christ the drugs and he is also facing charges.
