A 55-acre piece of land located along Illinois Route 15, just off of 255 in Centerville is the focus of a local group. RJ3A LLC is piecing together plans for a project that will bring more than 100 jobs to the region. The first in a series of buildings that will be built will house a light manufacturing facility that will be used to manufacture deadbolt locks.
Once more funding becomes available, the consortium of investors plans to build a mid-level hotel, a restaurant and bar and also include several retail stores.
John Palowski says that the group considered several locations and that they chose to build in Centerville for several reasons.
Palowski also says that they eventually hope to add a civic center that would allow the area to host events with accommodations for up to 10,000 people.
