If you are looking for a job, you may be able to find one Wendesday in Godfrey.  Lewis & Clark Community College is hosting its annual job fair at the Commons from 9 a.m. until noon.  There will be about 40 potential employers on hand, and some are ready to hire on the spot.  But organizers say they have found that some attendees in the past either didn’t know how to present themselves as a professional, or couldn’t afford to.

Lewis and Clark Manager of Career and Employment Services Alice Bunjan says the L&C Career Closet is being introduced to help outfit job seekers.  She says if she notices someone at the job fair that could use some wardrobe upgrades, she will try to tactfully broach the subject.

Since so many employers are going to an online-only application process, Bunjan says laptops will also be provided for online applications along with technical assistance, if needed. For more information you can call 468-5001.
