The Jersey County Clerk says he anticipates between sixty and sixty-five percent voter turnout on Election Day.  There are several reasons for this, not the least of which is the fact that is a Presidential Election year.  There are other races on the local ballot as well, including every seat on the Jersey County Board.

Jersey County Clerk Steve Pohlman says in addition, there are a couple of ballot questions being asked.

Pohlman comments

Grace period voting must be done in person at Pohlman's office.  You can do that through November 3.  Meanwhile, voters still have to wait a little while longer to vote early.  The early voting period in Illinois doesn't start until October 22 and it also runs until November 3.
