Jesse Jackson Jr. is in the process of turning over the thousands of dollars in items he purchased with taxpayer money. Jackson was served a forfeiture order on Thursday. The U.S. Attorney's office says 13 items have been submitted so far, including Bruce Lee and Michael Jackson memorabilia, a mink cashmere cape, a mink reversible parka, a black and red cashmere cape, and a black fox reversible jacket.
Earlier this month the Illinois Democrat was sentenced to prison for two-and-a-half years for stealing 750-thousand-dollars from his campaign fund and spending it on personal items. He also failed to report the money on his tax forms. Meantime, Jackson's wife Sandi was sentenced to one year in prison for tax fraud.
