After the United State Supreme Court ruled the Affordable Health Care Act is constitutional last summer, states moved plans for creating an insurance exchange into high gear.  Illinois Department of Insurance spokesman Mark Terry says the exchange should launch around the first of October.

Among the other changes instituted since the provisions began taking effect in 2010 are the inclusion of kids up to the age of 26 on their parents' policies, the Illinois Pre-Existing Condition Insurance plan, and the eventual closing of the "donut hole" in Medicare Part D plans.
