Talking on cell phones has become a normal part of life but lawmakers are trying to restrict cell phone usage in vehicles. They're moving a bill that would ban people from holding their phones while they're driving. That means drivers would have to use a hands free device or put their phone on speaker when they want to talk.
The bill passed in the senate but needs to go back to the House so state reps can approve a change. Once that's done, the bill will be headed to Governor Quinn.
