The Illinois High School Association is looking for a new place to hold football championships in odd numbered years starting in 2013. The new site must be able to host the games on the Friday and Saturday after Thanksgiving and hold at least 12-thousand people.

It must also have artificial turf, at least four locker rooms for teams plus three additional rooms for referees, athletic trainers and cheerleaders, and a fully equipped pressroom that can accommodate at least 50 reporters. The games are currently held at University of Illinois' Memorial Stadium but new Big Ten rules mean they can only host the games during even numbered years.
