Hundreds of Illinois students may be looking in a new direction as they choose a career path, following Wednesday’s Career Day at America’s Central Port in Granite City. The event was hosted by the Illinois Department of Transportation, and was started to inform students of the opportunities in the transportation industry. It also attracted dozens of companies and universities from across the region.
