All healthcare workers across the state could soon be required to wear ID Badges.  Democrat State Rep Lawrence Walsh is behind a proposal.  He says someone in his district had a scare when they took their mother to the doctor and an unidentified worker whisked her away.

Right now, all employees at state licensed hospitals and doctor's office are required to wear ID badges, but workers at unlicensed facilities are not. The bill passed in the Illinois House and now heads to the Senate.
