In the last four years, the I-Cash program has returned more than $500-million in lost money or unclaimed property to residents in Illinois. This week, residents in Alton, Jerseyville and Carlinville will have a chance to learn more about the program and inquire about any potential funds or property that may be recovered.
Illinois Treasurer Dan Rutherford says these types of events have been successful in the past.

Rutherford and his I-Cash staff will be at Glenhaven Gardens in Alton on Wednesday afternoon. I-Cash representatives will be on hand from 1 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. with Treasurer Rutherford making an appearance at 1:30 p.m.
Rutherford says anyone is welcome to attend the event. He also recommends using the I-Cash website, www.icash.illinois.gov, and searching for your name, your maiden name and your parents’ names to see if you or any of your relatives have any unclaimed funds or property.
On Thursday, November 13th, they will visit Jerseyville Manor from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. and Village Morse Farm in Carlinville from 12:30 p.m. until 2 p.m.
