Hunters can test their shotguns at several Illinois State Police shooting ranges this weekend to make sure they're properly sighted before they hit the fields.  Ranges Pittsfield, Effingham, Macomb, Pawnee, and Joliet will open up Saturday from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. 

Anyone interested in using the ranges should have a valid FOID card and their own ammunition.  Targets will be provided.  Hunters should also make a reservation before this Saturday at their preferred location and a list of contact names and numbers can be found here:
