An area hospice program is looking for volunteers. St. Anthony’s Hospital is hosting a training session April 21 and 22 from 5-9pm each night that will teach anyone interested what he or she should know to become a part of the program.
Hospice program volunteer Rikki Shutta says hospice is typically begun when a person has about 6 months to live according to their physician.
