Disposing of unwanted decorations after the holidays can be a hassle if you don't know what can and can not be recycled. With that thought in mind, Republic Services has created  "naughty and nice" list for holiday materials.

Gift boxes, tissue paper, bare Christmas trees, and non-metallic wrapping paper are few of the items that can be recycled. However, trying to recycle things like sticky gift labels, bubble wrap, and ribbons and bows will land you on the "naughty" list.

Republic Services recommends finding creative ways to reuse items that cannot be recycled. For example, you can use old, unwanted holiday greeting cards to make festive gift tags or simply reusing packing materials to store your christmas ornaments or decorations.
