A multi-million dollar sports complex that will include two hockey rinks and an aquatic center for McKendree University is planned for O’Fallon, Illinois.  The complex called the Four Points Center will be constructed at Highway 50 and Scott Troy Road.

Developers say the facility will replace the shuttered U.S. Ice Sports Complex in Fairview Heights that had to close due to mine subsidence issues.  In addition to local amateur and high school teams possibly using the ice rinks, McKendree will use the complex for future aquatic sports.  Construction will begin on the new facility in December and will take up to twelve months to finish.
