Tomorrow, October 9 is the 44th annual Alton Fall Historic House Tour, and the Alton Area Landmarks Association has put together a self-guided tour that includes 10 stops in mostly the Downtown and Middletown neighborhoods. There will be a commercial building designed by Lucas Pfeiffenberger, a house in the shape of a cross, and a church designed by the architect that also designed St. Louis' Union Station.
Association President Terry Sharp tells The Big Z they are excited to add to this year's tour the Perrin-Bowman House in Middletown.
