Temperatures are forecast to reach into the low 90’s through the end of this week, and with the return of humidity, many experts are urging caution.  The number of heat related illnesses have been relatively low so far this year with a fairly mild summer, but this week’s forecast will mark the return of summer heat.

Wood River Fire Chief Steve Alexander tells The Big Z many people who don’t run their air conditioners do so because of financial concerns.

He says if you don’t have air conditioning and you need to get out of the heat of the day, there are other options.  Alexander says going to the mall, a library, or other public area can help you keep cool.
