A Moro woman has been found not guilty in connection with a heroin overdose in Wood River last summer.   29-year-old was charged with aggravated battery after authorities say she purchased heroin with another woman and injected the victim with the drug.  The victim overdosed but was revived by paramedics.

The jury returned the verdict just before 5pm Wednesday.  Madison County State’s Attorney Tom Gibbons says he is disappointed.
