While Grafton has many restaurants and a handful of fish markets, there is no grocery store in town.  That could change by the middle of the year, according to Alan Gilmore, CEO of the Jersey County Business Association.  He says after speaking with Grafton Mayor Tom Thompson, he believes a store will be up and running by late summer at the latest.

He says it would be helpful to have a store not only for the locals, but also for campers at Pere Marquette State Park.
